What I believe and what I do NOT believe

Following is what I believe :
  1. Almost ALL problems of India, not found in the West, can be reduced to a level as low as it is in the West, by raising Nexuslessness in India's administration, legislatures and courts.

  2. How can Nexuslessness be raised in India? By passing drafts in Assemblies etc which enact many less nexuslessprone administrative procedures.

  3. What are those administrative procedures and those drafts? Please click here to see the list. And how can the drafts to enact these procedures be passed in Assembly? Click here for details.
And following is what I DO NOT believe :
  1. A Kalki i.e. a Good Leader would come and solve the problems.

  2. A Group of Kalkies i.e. a Good Organization would solve the problems.

  3. The West has solved most of its problem without Kalki or Group of Kalkies. So it is possible for India to solve problems WITHOUT Kalkies or Group of Kalkies.

What   makes   one   Nation/government   better   than   another?

Or why is the west better than India?

What are the BASIC factors that make one government better than other for its citizens?      I can answer in just 4 words : higher NEXUSLESSNESS in administration.

In 2 senetences I can eloberate it as :
  1. A nation whose administrative procedures are LESS NEXUS-PRONE will ALWAYS become superior to a nation whose administrative procedures are MORE nexus-prone
  2. if a nation is superior to another nation, it can ONLY be becuase first nation's administrative procdures are LESS nexusprone, and there will be NO OTHER reason for the first nation's superiority.
For example, why is that the governments of the nations such as US, UK etc treat their citizens far better than the governments of states such as India, Pakistan etc treat their citizens? The ONLY answer is : Nexuses in India's administration are more and stronger than in the West. And there is NO OTHER REASON. The excuses such as culture or political culture or history or type of leaders or leadership or organizations or level of moral values or ANY other factor are all 100% pure non-issues.

And enacting less Nexusprone administrative procedures is the ONLY necessary and more than sufficient step to bail us out of the present crisises, and improve India's administration to the Western level.

To be short, I emphasise on Nexuslessness of the administrative procedures and no other factor.

Please note this one MAJOR belief that makes my political beliefs different from those of many other activists.
  1. Many activists are searching for a good leader (aka Kalki) they can put faith in and work for.
  2. Many activists are looking for organizations or leaders by which they can assist the nation. Many organizations are trying to "lead" citizens.
  3. Unlike them, I firmly believe that it is futile to search for or create a Great Leader or a Great Organization.
What makes my proposals somewhat different from others' proposals is that --- "in Nexusless administrative procedures I trust, and I DO NOT trust in anything else".

Against Kalkism

When it comes to political beliefs, two KEY questions one must ask oneself and everyone else is ---
  1. are you a DEMOCRACY minded person or an oligarchy minded person
  2. are you looking for a Kalkibhai or an organization of Kalkibhaies or are you looking for a Kalkiless solution?
Q1 is well-known and well understood question. I will speak on Q2

I personally believe that common men in India is as capable as common men in West. And our techincal people such as engineers, scientists, doctors, technicians, laborers etc are as smart as those in West. We are as moral and thoughtful as people in West. However, on one thing we differ and IMO we are inferior than the people of West, and we MUST accept this fact and try to remove this defiiciency : too many of us are Kalkiwaadi, while people in West, are not interested in Kalies.

What is Kalkism or Kalkiwaad? Who's is a Kalkiwaadi after all? Someone who believes that problems can NOT be solved till A Great Leader arrives on the horizon and guides us. Some 100 years ago, people were merely waiting for Kalkibhai or Kalkiben to come. Today, thanks to election, that we can change the MPs/MLAs/PM/CM and so we dont wait for Kalki, but now we are searching for a Kalki assuming and that one exists or one would arrive. The evolution from Kalki-waiters to Kalki-searchers is indeed a positive change, but doesnt take us much far.

In contrast, the common men in West DOES NOT wait or search for a Kalki = A Great Leader. In the moment of crisises, they look for legal/techonocratic procedural ways out and start trying one way, then another, then find better one and then further improve and so forth. Success or failure, there is no search for Kalki; there is no demand for a Kalki and apparently Satyug has arrived in the West without any Kalki.

This is the ONE and ONLY ONE aspect of India which I despise to the core --- that many in India are Kalkists. Why the hell so many of us are Kalkiwaadi? And how come no one in the West gives a damn about Kalki? I haven't found any sensible answer so far. But on the issue of Kalki, over the time, I have thouroughly Westernized myself, though on practically many aspects of life, I still remain un-westernized. I have completely Dekalkified myself. I no longer desire for a Kalki, and even if I meet Him, I would not really give him much attention. Why should I accept Kalki's obligations? IMO, it will be unfair to burden one man with the task of baling the entire country out of the crisises. The task of balining out us 1000 million Indians, should be done by each or at least most of us. It would be sheer, naked and cruel exploitation of Kalki, if task of bailing 1000 million is forced upon him. Under no circumstances, I can be so mean, and ask Kalki to take such a heavy load.

Moreover, the citizens of the West have shown that it is very much possible to end this Kalyug and start a Satyug WITHOUT any Kalkies. We should also follow the same or a different, but a Kalkiless path.

Besides, if one reads "Kalki Puran" written by Vedbhai Vyas, it is clear that Kalkibhai will come, if at all he will, at the end of the 4th part of Kalyug and today is 2nd or 3rd part of the Kalyug. Each part of Kalyug is at least 1000 years long. Thus Kalki, even by most optimist calculation, is at least 2000 years away. So meanwhile we have manage without Kalki.

In short, Kalki is not coming any time soon, and he may not come at all. And IMO it is very much POSSIBLE to improve India without Kalkibhaies ans Kalkibens. Kalkiwaad (that India cannot improve without the arrival of A Great Leader) is not needed anymore, not after the West has shown several Kalkiless ways to improve the society.

So bad news is that Kalkibhai is NOT coming, and good news is that we do not need a Kalkibhai. However, this Kalkiwaad is one thing we need to get rid of to make some progress.

Neo-Kalkisim

For past 1000-1500 years, India's political thoughts were mainly Kalki-centric, that is at the end of all discussions of the political-social problems, the solution proposed was -- wait for Kalkibhai to come and sort out the problems. Now many people have realized that a Kalki may NOT come, but alas, they are now hoping that a "Good Organization" would come and would solve all the problems. This is what I call as Neo-Kalkism.

Lets take a glance at the modern administration in India. We have
  1. 1 Prime Minister, some 25 Chief Ministers
  2. about 30-50 Ministers at center, about 1000-1500 Ministers at State
  3. about 800 MPs, about 5000 MLAs
  4. about 13000 judges in lower courts, 700 judges in High court, 25 judges in Supreme court
  5. over 20,000 senior officers (rank of Deputy Collector or above) and
  6. lakhs of junior officers
so to bail India out of crisises, we would need say 10% of the Ministers, MLAs, MPs, judges, senior officers etc to be Kalki or at least a mini-Kalki. This would mean that we would need an organization of 100s and 1000s of Kalkies, a mind boggling impossibility.

Thus Neo-Kalkism, that an organization would bail us out of the crisises is worse than Kalkism, which says that a mighty individual will bail us out. While Neo-Kalkism sounds more "politically correct" after a detailed scrutiny of logistics, it turns out it requires 100s of Kalkies and thus is as useless as Kalkism.

To anyone who claims that a "Good Organization" would bail us out, I have following questions
  1. How can a good organization improve quality of MLAs, as after election, the organization has no control over them?

  2. How can a good organization improve quality of courts/judges, since a social/political organization has no control over courts/judges, and MUST NOT have any control eighter?

  3. and above all, how will the organization ensure that its own leaders remain "good" AFTER they are in power?

So far, I am yet to meet anyone who can give any answer to the above mentioned DETAILS. The Neo-Kalkists white wash and hand wave the questions of details. The general answer is "we need a good organization i.e. we need some 1000-2000 Kalkies and lakhs of mini-Kalkies, and that would solve the problems of India".

Here is why I think Neo-Kalkiism will fail : as of today, we simply cant have a "good" and LARGE organization in today's India.

Why can't we have a good large organization in India as of today? For a large organization to function properly, the members of organizations need to have proper contracts amongst themselves and there needs to be prompt/just actions against those who break those contracts. Proper contracts are easy to draft, but what about prompt/just actions against those who break contracts? For prompt/fair punitive action, we need prompt/fair courts and administration, which we simply do NOT have as of today. So contract breakers will remain unpunished. Now even if 1% people in an organization start disrespecting the contracts, the organization will collapse or become unfair to the society at large. So unless courts/administration improve, we simply wont be able to have proper organizations. Thus, demanding a good organization to reform administration/court is a circular demand, a catch-22.

So in order to improve courts/organization, we have to have a way out which DOES NOT require good leaders and good organzations. We need a leaderless way out, and we need an organizationless way out.

And if existing laws and administrative/court procedures improve, the Government itself can become competent enough that would serve most of the non-commercial needs of the citizens, so the citizens would not need any organizations, except private companies.

This way or that way, we have to find and work on a way to improve India's administration/courts, where the FIRST STEP is leaderless and organizationless step.

Summary
  1. whether governments will treat citizens fairly or not depends on one and ONLY factor : the level of Nexuslessness in the legislature, administration, courts etc.

  2. Solutions to miseries of commons in India lie in reducing nexusproneness (i.e. raising nexuslessness) in the administration.

  3. we cant afford to wait till a Kalki = Great Leader falls from sky, nor can we afford to wait for 1000s of Kalkies = Great Organization to fall from sky to raise Nexuslessness. If an activist interested in improving Indians' lives is trying to seek/create good leaders or good organizations, IMO, he is really wasting his time. The citizens *are* smart, and need no "guide" or "tutor" or "leader".
